I translated this comic crime novel by Bavo Dhooge sometime around 2016, if memory serves, and agent Peter Riva shopped it around to publishers unsuccessfully. Finally, Bavo sold it to some small publisher I'd never heard of, and they published it -- as by "Bo Dodge," a poorly chosen pseudonym, since it'll suggest to potential readers that the book is a Western, which is most certainly isn't -- in 2022.

I hope it sells. Bavo paid for the translation himself, and I'd love to see him make back his investment!
