"After the Fall"
by Bram Dehouck
"Flemish author Bram Dehouck debuted as a crime writer in 2009 with the novel The Affable Killer, which won both the Dutch Crime Writers Schaduwprijs (the equivalent of the Mystery Writers of America's Best First Novel award) and the Gouden Strop (the equivalent of MWA's Best Novel award). He won the Gouden Strop again for his second novel, 2011's A Summer Without Sleep (making him one of only a very small number of authors to win twice). Hell Child, his third book, came out in 2012."
