The Nametag Assignment
Make a permanent nametag to stand up in front of you on your desk (or hang over the front of your desk).
The nametag should show the name you want to be called, in large, easy-to-read letters, and there should be no other text visible. "Text" means letters in any alphabet, numerals, and punctuation marks.
In addition to your name, see how much more you can tell us about yourself by using images, objects, materials, color, style, etc. Keep in mind that anything too small to be clearly visible doesn't tell us much about you. This is not an art project, but it is an opportunity to be creative! Who are you? What's important to you? What's your personality like? See how much of that you can communicate via the nametag.
Think "outside the box."
The more you tell your classmates about yourself while following the instructions and thinking creatively, the more credit you will earn, up to a maximum of five points.
