My old friend Maria volunteers regularly at the Carnivore Preservation Trust in Pittsboro, NC, and, on July 29, she and her foster daughter Kelsey took us on a private behind-the-scenes tour to see the tigers, kinkajous, ocelots, leopards and other animals.
