One of our favorite things to do in the Cedar Valley is the "Friday After Work" concert series at the Hub, a friendly little club on Main Street in Cedar Falls. Every Friday, a local band plays for three hours, 6-9 PM, for a $5 cover, followed by a second band that plays till after midnight. Since last fall, the 6 PM attraction on the first Friday of each month has been my favorite Iowa group, Bob Dorr and the Blue Band, and, on April 2, our friend Sunde joined us for the show.
