It was Old Home Week around here in July. A day after visiting with Tom Crain and the Flanagan-Moores (see previous photo), I picked up Sheila Davie in DC, and she came down to the beach to spend several days with us. I’ve known Sheila since 1979, when I moved to Amsterdam and got a job as an editor at Excerpta Medica, a textbook-publishing company, and Sheila was one of my supervisors. She’s now the director of Results (UK), an organization which works to end hunger and poverty by keeping politicians informed about the problem and available solutions. In this picture, we’re in Annapolis.
