On November 4, Laurie and I drove almost 900 miles to Monument, CO, where we visited with old friends of mine from Cleveland and hers from when she lived in Manitou Springs. After two nights and a day in Colorado, we continued southwest to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Laurie's parents flew in from the East Coast, her brother and his family flew in from the West Coast, and the eight of us spent five days celebrating Laurie's mom's 75th birthday. This picture was taken by a professional photographer the day after the birthday, at the lovely Bishop's Lodge resort. Reading from left to right in the back, that's Laurie's brother Geoff, sister-in-law Kelly, nephew Zac, and of course Laurie and me. In the front are niece Emma, father Fred and mother Audrey. There are more pictures from our trip here.
