In the previous photo, you met new friend Dana, who I met last month through our mutual old friend Gary Kissick. On August 21, it took four cars for the six of us to gather for Trappist beer and mussels at the Mannekin Pis, a Belgian bistro up in Olney. Reading counterclockwise from the bottom right, you're looking at Dana, his wife Karen, Casey, Becca, Dana and Karen's son Max, and BethAnn. Max and Becca, both fencers, turn out to know some of the same people — and actually fenced in the same room four or five years ago, at the Junior Olympics in Columbus, OH! And if that wasn't enough of a coincidence, Max and Casey have a couple of mutual friends, too!
