A week before his son Jacob's bar mitzvah in CA, my brother Richard had to fly to DC for a couple of meetings. I had dinner with him after a full day of classes on September 26, and, on the 27th, I headed back up to DC between classes, picked him up, and shuttled him out to Old Town Alexandria for a mini family reunion at Cafe La Madeleine with Cousin David, Second Cousin Lara, and Lara's kids (Third Cousins Hunter, Hannah and Sarah).
