I met Mar Rence online in the early ’90s, and we learned to our amazement that we lived around the corner from each other in Lakewood, OH — and worked in the same building at Baldwin-Wallace College! He moved to Virginia in the late ’90s, but comes back to Cleveland once or twice a year to see his brothers and mom. We usually link up at the Rocky River Brewing Company for a couple of beers and some catch-up time, and that’s where this shot was taken in December ’05.
