She moved to Alexandria, VA, around Y2K, so we saw each other less often until I moved to MD in '06, then more often until Laurie and I moved to Iowa in '08. On December 22, Laurie and her parents and I had dinner with Jo and her mother Lillian at JoAnn's condo. Then, on the 26th, while Laurie spent a last evening with her folks, I finally met Jo's brother Ralph and sister-in-law Bonnie, who'd flown up from Florida earlier in the day with their daughter Sammy (who I met in July of '07, when she came up on her own for a visit).
