Becca flew in from Arizona on January 5th and stayed with us through the 12th. This was her first visit to Iowa, and we ferried her around to all of our favorite places, including a Thursday night trip to the Hub, where unfortunately Bob Dorr wasn't playing. Instead, we saw the Pork Tornadoes, who started promptly at 9 PM, played two really loud songs to a "crowd" that, including us, consisted of a grand total of five people, and then left the stage. We sat there for 40 minutes, waiting for them to come back, but they didn't, and finally we gave up and went home. Great show, Pork Tornadoes!
