On June 5, we drove to Dubuque for a fundraiser for Iowa Public Radio, a three-hour "Blues Cruise" on the Mississippi River featuring music by our favorite Iowa group, Bob Dorr and the Blue Band. We arrived early enough to ride the Fenelon Place funicular and roam around the lovely Dubuque Arboretum, then had a fabulous dinner at Pepper Sprout with our friends Karla and Janet before boarding the Spirit of Dubuque for the cruise. There are various pictures of Bob Dorr already on this website, but none of Laurie with a lizard, so I figured it was time to deal with that omission — thus this photo, taken at the Arboretum.
