On May 15 — the day after Laurie's birthday — we flew to Alaska to begin our 10-months-delayed honeymoon. We spent a night in Anchorage, then took a gorgeous 5-hour train ride to Seward, spent a night there, then boarded Holland America's MV Statendam for a 7-day cruise, with port calls in Haines, Juneau and Ketchikan. We've posted a lot of photos here. (This one is actually not an Alaska shot. After our cruise, we spent two nights in Vancouver before returning to Iowa, and this picture was taken there, on lovely Granville Island.)
